MCS Gravel Skills Series
Wednesdays, April 23rd through May 28th, 2025
Methow Cycle & Sport and Cascade Endurance are joining forces to offer a six week Spring Gravel Skills Series, Wednesdays 5 - 7pm running from April 23 - May 28.
The purpose of this gravel skills series is to help you become a safer, more skilled and confident cyclist.
This series will be divided into two distinct sections - developing skills, practicing skills and then applying the skills to different terrain/features/elements. You will have the opportunity to work on specific bike handling skills - like body position, descending, navigating curves and turns, water crossings, single track, climbing, braking and pedaling mechanics. You will also learn about the inner workings of your bike like tire pressure, tire choice and cleaning/maintenance.

Bikepacking Roots and Methow Cycle & Sport are excited to team up for another year of offering free, fun, and inclusive bikepacking events in the Methow. We hope you'll join us!
For our first trip of the year, we're embarking on a beginner-friendly, one-night bikepacking trip! Load up your bike with camping gear and ride out to the Gardner Hut in the Rendezvous. We'll enjoy a campfire and a night under the stars before riding back to town the next day. This is the perfect opportunity to try out bikepacking for the first time, learn from other folks, and make connections with other bikepackers. The main route is about 15 miles to the hut, but there are many options to extend the ride for those looking for a longer day.
