Mazama Junction to Suspension Bridge
Mostly clear and dry with a few wet spots. A smooth, rolling, out-and-back ride of about 5 miles RT. Side by side riding on the two-track path crossing creeks and meadows with great river views.
Trail open in the meadows. Riders will experience snow patches and standing water in some of the forested trail sections. Valley-bottom, wide, multi-use trail located between Winthrop and Mazama. Great for families, canine friends and beginner riders. Trail travels through forest, meadows and along the Methow river. 4-6 miles. Thanks to an agreement between the Department of Fish and Wildlife and Methow Trails, no pass required for parking or riding.
Lower Sun Mountain Trails
Riders may experience muddy sections in forested areas. Many easy, well-signed trails include Beaver Ponds, Little Wolf, Sunnyside, Lower & Upper Fox, Rodeo and Aqualoop.
Winthrop Pump Track
Located directly across the street from Methow Cycle & Sport (and next to the baseball field), this is a fun pit stop for the young'ins (and adults too)! It's also a great place to practice your overall cycling balance and riding skills.
