"lovin the methow"

Nothing brings me more enjoyment than sharing my day with all the familiar and unfamiliar faces that stop in our little shop tucked away in the Methow Valley. I love the Methow for many reasons and I hope that I can do my small part to make our community stronger and more vibrant.

This time of year, I take advantage of the chance to take my road bike up Washington Pass before it opens for the season. Each weekend, we ride as high as the snow clearing allows, savoring the opportunity to ride the road through the spectacular scenery of the North Cascades National Park without any vehicles around. Often, we start out in the valley sunshine and climb up into the snowy mountains. The ride down is fast and fun (and cold--I bring lots of layers!) and always end the ride with a snack at the Mazama Store.
